Mentor Breast Implants

MENTOR® MemoryGel® silicone gel-filled breast implants received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2006. The FDA is widely regarded as one of the world's most rigorous regulatory authorities for medical devices. Approved products undergo annual review, and authorization may be withdrawn if they fail to continue meeting the required standards.
Since receiving FDA approval in 2006, Mentor breast implants have successfully met these stringent quality requirements every year. They also carry the European Union CE mark.
Mentor Implant Types
- MENTOR® MemoryGel® Breast Implants: filled with Mentor's proprietary cohesive gel, these implants provide a soft feel and a natural appearance.
- MENTOR® MemoryGel® Plus Breast Implants: offering the benefits of the original MemoryGel® implants with additional options in Moderate Plus and High Profile projections.
- MENTOR® CPG™ Breast Implants: featuring Mentor's patented cohesive gel technology, these implants help shape the breast, achieve the desired contour, and provide long-lasting results.

Mentor Warranty Program
The MENTORPromise warranty program is automatically provided to every patient receiving MENTOR® breast implants.
The program includes:
- Free automatic enrollment.
- Lifetime replacement implants in the event of rupture caused by shell failure, delamination, leakage, or other confirmed manufacturing defects.
- For a confirmed implant rupture occurring within 10 years of implantation, patients may also be eligible to receive reimbursement of up to 1000 EUR toward revision surgery costs from the manufacturer.
- Complimentary implant replacement for confirmed capsular contracture for up to 10 years.
- For implants placed on or after 1 July 2017, Mentor may reimburse the cost of replacement implants for both breasts in cases of confirmed manufacturing defects or capsular contracture, subject to the terms of the program.
Motiva Breast Implants
The manufacturer of Motiva® breast implants, Establishment Labs, is strongly committed to women's health and patient safety. As the company states: "Patient safety and satisfaction have always been - and will continue to be - our highest priorities."
Over the past 15 years, Establishment Labs has conducted extensive research into the body's immune response to breast implants with different surface characteristics. The findings from this research, combined with continuous product development and technological innovation, led to the creation of the Motiva® implant portfolio.
Clinical studies and data collected through patient follow-up programs demonstrate that Motiva implants featuring SilkSurface® technology are associated with excellent outcomes and a lower risk of complications. The incidence of capsular contracture with SilkSurface® implants is exceptionally low, reported at less than 1%.
Motiva breast implants are CE marked for use within the European Union. FDA approval is currently in progress.

- Always Confident Warranty: automatically activated; no registration required. Lifetime replacement implant in the event of confirmed rupture or manufacturing defect.
- Product Replacement Policy: automatically activated. Provides replacement implants for Baker Grade III or IV capsular contracture within 10 years of implantation.
- 1-Year Extended Warranty: free registration required. Includes implant replacement and up to 2500 EUR toward eligible revision surgery.
- 2-Year Extended Warranty: registration and registration fee required. Includes implant replacement and up to 2500 EUR toward eligible revision surgery.
- 5-Year Extended Warranty: registration and registration fee required. Includes implant replacement and up to 2500 EUR toward eligible revision surgery.
- JOY Program: patients receiving Motiva Ergonomix2® implants are automatically enrolled, following registration, in the 5-Year Extended Warranty and the Woman's Choice Program.
