Laboratory tests can be used to diagnose a wide spectrum of illnesses. This is why blood tests, urinalysis and stool tests are key parts of numerous medical examinations.
Laboratory tests
No prior medical consultation is required for laboratory tests - we also perform them on request. Depending on the tests requested, sampling is possible throughout the day. We try to evaluate the results as soon as possible, preferably on the same day.
Laboratory tests provide information on the current status of the liver, the pancreas, the internal glands (for e.g.: the thyroid, the adrenal), the digestive system and the kidney. Based on the results, altered physiological functions signaled by ions, enzymes and hormones can be diagnosed even before the changes become physically perceptible. Thus the development of severe illnesses can be prevented.
