Gynecological surgeries
Thanks to advances in surgical technology, some of the earlier open exploratory surgeries can now be performed laparoscopically, which is much less stressful for the patient and results in a faster recovery with fewer complications.
Surgical operations are always preceded by a detailed and careful examination, the aim of which is to ensure that the patient arrives for surgery in the best possible condition, thereby speeding recovery and significantly reducing complications.
Our most common gynecological surgeries:
Endometrial ablation
Endometrial ablation, also known as uterine ablation or curettage, can have several indications, diagnostic and therapeutic.
Ablation is a same-day procedure, performed under general anesthesia. During anesthesia, the cervix is dilated and the endometrium is removed through the open cervix.

Vaginoplasty
A distinction is made between prolapse complaints caused by a weakening of the anterior or the posterior vaginal wall, and those caused by a tissue abnormality, which may require a vaginoplasty.
Vaginoplasty can be performed under general anesthesia or spinal anesthesia. During the operation, following appropriate disinfection and preparation, and in most cases after insertion of a general catheter, the vaginal wall reconstruction is performed.

Intimate plastic surgery
Intimate plastic surgery is the term for several surgical procedures. Intimate plastic surgery procedures can restore the tightness of the vaginal wall, reduce the size of the labia minora, and correct the size of the mons pubis.

Loop conization of the cervix
Loop conization, also known as a cone biopsy, is a special cervical surgery that can be used for both therapeutic and diagnostic purposes. During the procedure, a persistent cervical wound that does not heal with conservative treatment and causes inflammatory vaginal complaints is repaired for therapeutic purposes.
During the procedure, we use a loop electrosurgical instrument to remove the affected part of the uterine cavity.

Hysterectomy
Hysterectomy surgery has several indications. Basically, a distinction is made between whether the lesion is benign or malignant, and whether the operation is to address increased bleeding problems or other problems.
For each patient we decide on an individual basis whether to operate abdominally, laparoscopically or vaginally.

Ovarian surgeries
Ovarian surgery can be divided into two main groups: operations to treat benign and malignant lesions. At Dr. Rose Private Hospital, we primarily provide surgical treatment for benign ovarian lesions.
Most ovarian surgeries are performed using a minimally invasive procedure called laparoscopy.

Pregnancy termination
Pregnancy termination, also known as abortion, is a strictly regulated gynecological procedure that can be performed within the framework of the legislation in force.
Abortion is a one-day surgical procedure, it is performed under intravenous anesthesia. Two weeks after the operation, a follow-up examination is necessary.

TOT anti-incontinence surgery
The primary indication for TOT (transobturator tape) surgery is incontinence, i.e. involuntary loss of urine.
There are several types of incontinence, with SUI (stress urinary incontinence), more commonly known as stress incontinence, requiring surgery. Of the several treatment options for stress incontinence, TOT (transobturator tape) insertion is preferred. During the operation, the anatomical abnormality of the urethra is compensated for by the implantation of the tape.

Instrumental termination of a miscarriage (spontaneous abortion)
If the development of the fetus stops by the 12th week of pregnancy, but the body does not initiate the natural rejection of the pregnancy tissues, then surgical intervention may be necessary, depending on the doctor's recommendation and the patient's condition.
Treatment for a spontaneous abortion is a one-day surgical procedure, and it is performed under anesthesia. After appropriate preparation, the dead pregnancy tissue is removed from the uterine cavity, which is always sent for histological examination.
