Péter Fuszek M.D graduated from Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest in 1992.

From 1992 to 2007, he worked as an assistant professor at SOTE 1st Department of Internal Medicine.

Between 2007 and 2014, he was the head of the endoscopic laboratory and then the head of the department of Ferenc Jahn South Pest Hospital. In addition to patient care, he takes part in the theoretical and practical training of those preparing for their specialization in gastroenterology and internal medicine. Furthermore, He has gained extensive experience in instrumental examinations of gastroenterology (gastrostroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, double-balloon enteroscopy, varixligatura, control of bleeding, esophageal dilatation). After he obtained his specialization in 1997 in internal medicine and then in 1999 in gastroenterology, in 2007 he received his Ph.D. (topic: Epidemiology and pathogenesis of colorectal tumors).

He regularly gives lectures in Hungary as well as participates in education congresses abroad (Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York USA, postgraduate training, 2001).

He has been working in private medical care since 1998. He has been working at Dr. Rose Private Hospital since 2014 with a minor break - where besides having basic gastroenterological and endoscopic examinations, he deals with balloon therapy, which is one of the most effective non-invasive methods of treating obesity.
