Occupational health
Workers in the 21st century face new technologies and jobs, and thereby different working conditions and risks than previously. Adapting to these changes, Dr. Rose Private Hospital’s professional team has created an advanced, flexible occupational health care system for company employees. In the last two decades, as elsewhere a series of economic and technological changes have taken place in Hungary, which have fundamentally changed the world of work. In response to these challenges, our institution intends to pay special attention to the prevention, early detection and treatment of mental health, psychosocial, psychosomatic and stress disorders. Our core occupational health activity is regulated by Government Decree 89/1995, 1993’s several times amended Act XCIII, and in accordance with the applicable occupational health decrees, legislation and co-decrees. Screening tests
At Dr. Rose Private Hospital, we pay special attention to the prevention of disease and its early detection. Regular screening has a key role to play, as diseases diagnosed in time have a higher chance of being cured, or complications prevented by regular treatment and control tests. In addition to our manager screenings, which include a thorough investigation, screenings focusing on a specific area or disease group, as well as the gynecological, urological and dermatological screening tests recommended annually, are also available. We tailor and organize the necessary examinations for our patients and conduct them together in one place and at one time. Manager screenings In our comprehensive manager screening packages, we focus on the investigation of malignancies, cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders, taking into account the extra burdens of our stressful, busy lives. Each manager screening package includes specialist, imaging, laboratory and diagnostic examinations too. We prepare a specialist’s summary of the examination results, from which our patients get an overview of their health and the further actions necessary to maintain it. Targeted screenings In our targeted screening packages, we focus individually on one area, syndrome or disease group. Screening tests for children In addition to the basic screening tests recommended for children at each age, we also have screening packages for special problems such as parent-child relationships, behavioral disorders, allergic diseases, asthma, or endocrine and metabolic diseases.
Dietetics
In the course of providing dietary advice, we provide assistance not only with lifestyle changes and health maintenance, but also with the dietary treatment of established diseases. In striving for the best results for our patients, we focus on individual problems; as we are all different, our counseling is completely personalized. In collaboration with our medical team we explore the causes of symptoms and complaints. We provide laboratory and other diagnostic tests for our patients. In collaboration with a doctor of internal medicine, cardiologist, endocrinologist, diabetologist, gastroenterologist and other specialists whenever necessary, we assure our patients the benefit of the most complex care possible. We provide dietary advice and compile a diet that is optimized in line with the patient’s gender, age, weight, occupation and physical activity. The success of our work lies in achieving long-term change, which is why we consider it important to follow up at regular intervals. During the consultations, we teach patients how to eat according to their disease or condition, from the right choice of ingredients to kitchen technology and decisions concerning portion sizes. Our goal is not a one-dimensional diet but to create a well-balanced diet and a livable lifestyle.
Cardiovascular (heart attack, stroke) screening
Heart attack and stroke are usually caused by a long-standing underlying medical condition (high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, arrhythmia). Recognizing and treating these is the most effective way to prevent disease.
Endocrinology
Endocrinology is the branch of medicine that deals with diseases and disorders of the endocrine glands. Endocrine glands include, among others, the pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, adrenal glands, the pancreas, ovaries and testicles. The hormones they produce are transmitted to different parts of the body through the bloodstream to work their effects. The functioning of our hormone system affects our entire body, so altered hormone production affects the functioning of many of our organs. The endocrinologist is responsible for detecting and curing hormone problems and hormone disorders.
