Psychiatry
More and more people are interested in topics that start with ’psych-’, but sometimes people confuse what a psychiatrist does, and the differences between a psychologist and a psychiatrist. The main difference is in undergraduate education because a psychology degree can be obtained from the Faculty of Humanities of universities, while a psychiatry degree can be obtained as a professional examination following a general medical degree. Proctology
Proctology is the science of the last 20cm of the intestinal tract. Among the most common complaints are hemorrhoids, rupture of the rectum, and rectal pain. In addition, proctological diseases include benign and malignant tumors, polyps, blood clot complaints, rectal skin lesions, abscesses, fistulas, symptoms of infectious venereal diseases, and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) manifesting at this stage of the intestinal tract. Rectal pain is often caused by dysfunction of the sphincter and pelvic floor muscles.

At Dr. Rose Private Hospital, we use state-of-the-art digital devices for x-ray and mammography examinations. The completed x-ray and mammograph images are also available online for our patients. The unique link to the gallery and how to access it will be emailed to our patients. The images can be downloaded - even from a mobile phone - for later saving, and we provide your doctor with a view of the image findings in medical format (DICOM). Previous x-rays can be of great help in diagnosing and setting up the optimal treatment plan.
Dermatology
Dermatology is the branch of medicine that deals with the symptoms, pathology and cure of skin diseases. Because of the symptoms, dermatology often interacts with related professions such as internal medicine, allergology / immunology, pathology (histology), microbiology (bacteriology, virology, mycology), and specialized laboratory diagnostics.The dermatologist’s responsibilities include treating conditions relating to the skin, nails, hair, oral mucosa and external genitalia, as well as a number of venereal diseases. An important area of dermatology is the screening of skin cancer and the differentiation of benign (non-cancerous) skin conditions. Annual screening of moles is recommended even when they cause no complaint, as the timely detection of skin cancers - including the most serious type, malignant melanoma - can save lives.
