The perfect lines - exhibition opening at Dr. Rose Private Hospital

Dr. Rose Private Hospital is located in Széchenyi István Square, between the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Gresham Palace, one of Budapest's World Heritage Sites. The living history around the hospital is witnessed by the buildings that appear in the exhibition "Perfect Lines" by photographer Zoltán Marek. The artist's black and white images show details of the buildings in the area. "With the lighting, the lights and the angles, I tried to show how perfect a single detail can be," the photographer explained.

Zoltán Marek is a master of capturing the moments of our fast-paced world in still images. His architectural photographs depict a clean visual world, his photos are characterful, to the point and capture moments that we would normally pass by, perhaps not even notice. "I try to send a message to people with my pictures: stop for a moment, be happy because the sun is shining, stop and dance in the rain, sit on the ground and look at the ripples around you."

Organised by The ArtSommelier, the exhibition of photographer Zoltán Marek will be on display at Dr. Rose Private Hospital from 15 September 2022.
