Hernia operations

A hernia is when an internal organ is dislocated from its normal anatomical position or cavity through a congenital or acquired opening. Hernias most commonly affect the abdominal wall.The development of a hernia may be asymptomatic or may be accompanied by a heavy, pulling or dull ache, together with a bulging in the affected area. The bulge size may vary. The hernia contents can usually be reinserted into the abdominal cavity through the hernia gate.
