CT

Computer tomography examination has been used in diagnostics for many years. The CT scanner uses a series of x-rays to produce detailed and accurate images of ‘slices’ of specific areas of the body (from head to ankle) and if needed, three-dimensional images are generated from these cross-sections. By applying a special dye, the vascular system of the chosen area may be also visualized. CT scanning is quick, painless and can be performed as ambulant treatment.
