Mammography

Mammography is an x-ray examination of the breasts that uses a low dose of radiation to detect changes in breast tissue, such as tumors or calcifications.

ONCOPLASTIC SURGERY

Oncoplastic surgery is a separate specialty of plastic surgery, which is a combination of oncology, which deals with the treatment of breast cancer, and breast surgery. The procedure allows cancer patients to have the tumor removed and the affected area reconstructed at the same time, thus the patient’s self-confidence remains intact.

Stone removal surgeries - bladder stones

One possible form of urinary tract stones (urolithiasis) is bladder stones, i.e., the presence of urinary stones in the bladder. Removal of bladder stones is usually done through the urethra endoscopically (transurethral) and only rarely, usually in the case of large stones, is open surgical removal necessary.

Radiology is a medical discipline using various imaging procedures (x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT, isotope scan), which is mainly used for diagnostic purposes. The basic task and clinical practical goal of radiological imaging diagnostics is to explore the relationships between the signs seen in the images and the pathological abnormalities behind them. In our radiology department, the examinations are carried out with the help of state-of-the-art digital x-ray devices, mammographs suitable for tomosynthesis and stereotactic sampling in addition to traditional procedures and high-end ultrasound devices.
