Why is post-summer mole screening essential?
With this summer’s record-breaking temperatures of 41°C, the public was urged to take extra precautions against sunburn caused by extreme UV radiation. For normal skin types, even 15-20 minutes’ exposure can lead to redness, increasing the risk of skin cancer. That’s why after the summer is the best time to have your annual mole screening. Early detection of malignant moles can be crucial, preventing potentially fatal metastasis.

Advice for heart conditions
Cardiovascular diseases account for about 50-60 percent of all deaths in Hungary, with most caused by atherosclerosis. If the coronary artery becomes calcified, it can lead to a heart attack; if the cerebral vessels calcify, a cerebral infarction, or stroke, can occur. Of course, our heart can be attacked by other diseases, but just like atherosclerosis, most cardiovascular diseases can be prevented, the risk of developing them can be reduced, and more and more advanced therapies can prevent a serious condition once the problem has occurred. Dr. Éva Junger, head of outpatient care at Dr. Rose Private Hospital, internist, cardiologist, and occupational health specialist, outlines the details.
Surgery
At Dr. Rose Private Hospital, both one-day and multi-day surgical procedures are available. Our general surgeries primarily include interventions for abdominal, proctological and endocrinological lesions. During the modernization of surgery, some of the earlier exploratory surgeries can now be performed endoscopically (using fiber optic devices), which is much less stressful for the patient and provides faster healing with fewer complications. The number of surgical areas that can be performed with endoscopic surgical techniques is constantly increasing: gallbladder removal, hernias, gastrointestinal surgery, etc.
