PolyWatch Sleep Screener
The PolyWatch Sleep Screener is a sleep monitoring device that can be used to easily and reliably identify patients with severe breathing-related sleep disorders (sleep apnea) requiring further treatment.
Stroke
Stroke is a sudden nervous system disorder caused by a disruption of the blood supply to the brain, which can cause permanent damage or death. Two forms are known: cerebral infarction, also known as ischemic brain damage, which occurs in approximately 85% of cases when an area of the brain does not receive enough blood to function due to vascular occlusion; and in approximately 15% of cases, hemorrhagic strokes occur when blood flows into the brain itself or between the membranes (meninges) covering the brain and spinal cord. Dr. Rose Private Hospital’s neurologist, Dr. Sándor Ilniczky, answers the most important questions about stroke.
Combined breast augmentation
The size and shape of the breasts are largely genetically determined. Childbirth, breastfeeding, extreme weight loss or weight gain can all have a detrimental effect even on previously beautiful, full-bodied shapes. In the case of most women, over time the breast glands decrease in size and as a result the breasts may sag, losing their firmness and fullness. The essence of combined breast augmentation is to replace the missing volume with an implant and to eliminate the sagging of drooping breasts. During combined breast augmentation, the plastic surgeon inserts an implant and lifts the breasts by excising a portion of the excess skin. After removing the excess skin and replenishing the required volume, the breasts become full and shapely again.
Treatment options for incontinence
Incontinence is not just a common health problem that affects the quality of life of many women every day, but it is also a sensitive issue that those affected are reluctant to talk about. This disturbing condition, which involves the involuntary leakage of urine, can manifest in various forms and severity levels, posing a significant challenge to those affected in their daily lives. However, the treatment of incontinence is not a hopeless struggle; with the advancement of modern medicine and technology, effective treatment options are available to improve the quality of life of those affected.
Screening for children after COVID
Children and adolescents also get infected with the coronavirus causing the COVID-19 pandemic, however in their case the disease is mostly asymptomatic or only mild. Rarely, children may develop a serious condition as a result of an infection or 2-3 weeks post-infection, in the form of ’multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children’ or ’pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome’ (MIC-S or PIMS) that can infect multiple organs (heart, lungs, intestinal tract, kidneys, brain, skin, eyes) and usually requires hospitalization.

SKINBOOSTER HYALURONIC ACID FACIAL TREATMENT
The amount of hyaluronic acid produced naturally in our skin steadily declines from the age of 25, failing which the skin becomes dry and wrinkles appear. Fortunately, hyaluronic acid is replaceable, and when applied to the tissues it hydrates the skin from within, improving and rejuvenating its structure. The Skinbooster treatment is not intended for volume replenishment by traditional hyaluronic acid fillers but works its effect in the middle layer of the skin, normalizing hydration, thus making the skin radiant and smooth. It can be applied on the face, neck and décolleté, and even on the back of the hands.
