Dermatology

Dermatology is the branch of medicine that deals with the symptoms, pathology and cure of skin diseases. Because of the symptoms, dermatology often interacts with related professions such as internal medicine, allergology / immunology, pathology (histology), microbiology (bacteriology, virology, mycology), and specialized laboratory diagnostics.The dermatologist’s responsibilities include treating conditions relating to the skin, nails, hair, oral mucosa and external genitalia, as well as a number of venereal diseases. An important area of ​​dermatology is the screening of skin cancer and the differentiation of benign (non-cancerous) skin conditions. Annual screening of moles is recommended even when they cause no complaint, as the timely detection of skin cancers - including the most serious type, malignant melanoma - can save lives.

Allergology

Animal or plant protein fragments or allergens can all damage our immune system, causing excessive and abnormal functioning, and leading to allergic diseases. Depending on the organ system involved, the allergic reaction may cause respiratory, dermatological or gastrointestinal symptoms. Pediatric surgery

Pediatric surgery involves the surgical treatment of a wide range of pediatric diseases from infancy to young adulthood, from top to toe. It includes abdominal, thoracic, urological, hand surgery therapies, as well as minor interventions such as the treatment of moles and inflammatory nail diseases. The child should not be treated as a small adult. They have different illnesses, different responses to interventions, a different healing capacity, and very different needs. With the proliferation of minimally invasive surgery in pediatric surgery, most body cavity surgeries are performed by video endoscopy instead of the earlier open, exploratory surgery, which results in less stress and pain, and significantly better aesthetic results.

Hysterectomy

Hysterectomy surgery can have several indications. Basically, a distinction is made between benign and malignant lesions, and also between surgery to address increased bleeding problems or other problems.

Vaginoplasty

There are various clinical indications for vaginoplasty. Distinctions are made between those with a weakening of the anterior vaginal wall and those with a weakening of the posterior vaginal wall, or those with a lax vaginal wall due to a tissue disorder, for which vaginoplasty may be necessary. Weakening of the vaginal wall can be caused both by giving birth and by a connective tissue disorder. Depending on the symptoms, a separate anterior and posterior wall, or a combined anterior and posterior vaginoplasty may be performed.
