Neck lift

It is inherent in the aging process that the skin loses its elasticity, although the extent of this can vary greatly from individual to individual, as some people tend to develop wrinkles, others experience primarily skin sagging or a combination of these two phenomena. When non-invasive methods - cosmetic treatments, laser procedures - no longer help enough, the ’rejuvenation’ and tightening of the neck skin can be achieved with plastic surgery. In some cases, local liposuction is sufficient, in others it may be necessary to remove excess skin to achieve an optimal effect.

Children's screening package 1-17 years old

Our screening packages for children are specially developed to eliminate potential problems. Naturally, we provide the possibility of treating any diseases that may be detected during the screening.  With the help of an orthopedic examination we can detect musculoskeletal and postural disorders as well as the causes of leg, knee or back pain. In most cases the earlier such problems are discovered, the better the results.  Eyesight problems, detectable during ophthalmic screening, can prevent a situation whereby a child’s headaches or learning difficulties draw our attention to them.  Early hearing loss, possibly caused by chronic underlying aural processes, can be detected via an ear, nose and throat (ENT) test.  An abdominal ultrasound scan can provide information about the condition of internal organs and any possible abnormalities.

Functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS)

The sinuses are air-filled cavities connected to the nasal cavity, in which secretions are continuously produced. For their healthy functioning, it is essential that the secretions produced are emptied into the nasal passages without hindrance. If the openings of the cavities are not permeable due to narrowing or blockage, the stagnant secretions can cause inflammation, infection and even the formation of nasal polyps. FESS is a modern, minimally invasive surgical procedure that uses endoscopic instruments to restore the natural ventilation and secretion drainage of the sinuses, thus eliminating the complaints caused by chronic inflammation.

Snoring examination (sleep endoscopy)

Snoring affects approximately half of the adult population, primarily impairing sleep quality, but in severe cases it can also be associated with respiratory arrest (respiratory apnea), which can have serious consequences. Snoring is a symptom caused by narrowing of the upper airways during sleep. Sleep endoscopy is a diagnostic procedure in which, using a brief, surface (superficial) anesthesia, the otolaryngologist observes the snoring and possible airway obstruction sites, which helps in selecting the optimal treatment.

Nasopharyngeal tonsil surgery (adenoidectomy)

The nasopharyngeal tonsil (adenoid) is located in the back of the nasal cavity, in the upper part of the pharynx, directly next to the openings of the eustachian tube. The adenoid tonsil participates in the defense against infections, especially in filtering pathogens that enter through the respiratory tract. Its function decreases with age and is no longer essential after a certain age, so the tonsil can be surgically removed based on medical indications.

Nerve Root Decompression Surgery

The goal of nerve root decompression surgery is to relieve pressure on compressed nerve roots, thereby reducing radiating pain, numbness, and restricted mobility. The procedure is most commonly performed in cases of herniated discs or spinal stenosis, when conservative treatments no longer provide sufficient improvement. Deviated septum surgery

A deviated septum is a common condition that affects two-thirds of the Hungarian population. The nasal septum is a plate of cartilage and bone that divides the nasal cavity into two equal parts. Ideally, it is centrally located, ensuring even airflow in both nasal cavities, but it often develops minor or major deviations. This can be congenital or the result of injury. If the deviation is significant, one side of the nose becomes narrower, which can cause difficulty breathing, nasal congestion and recurrent inflammation. A deviated septum can be corrected surgically, improving nasal breathing and everyday comfort.

Tonsil surgery (tonsillectomy)

The tonsils are lymphoid tissues located on either side of the throat that play a role in protecting against infections. They are important in the functioning of the immune system in childhood, but their importance decreases with age. If the tonsils become frequently inflamed, permanently enlarged, or cause other health problems, their removal may be warranted.
