Junger M.D.
Head of outpatient care, internal medicine, cardiologist, occupational health careDermatology
Dermatology is the branch of medicine that deals with the symptoms, pathology and cure of skin diseases. Because of the symptoms, dermatology often interacts with related professions such as internal medicine, allergology / immunology, pathology (histology), microbiology (bacteriology, virology, mycology), and specialized laboratory diagnostics. The dermatologist’s responsibilities include treating conditions relating to the skin, nails, hair, oral mucosa and external genitalia, as well as a number of venereal diseases. An important area of dermatology is the screening of skin cancer and the differentiation of benign (non-cancerous) skin conditions. Annual screening of moles is recommended even when they cause no complaint, as the timely detection of skin cancers - including the most serious type, malignant melanoma - can save lives.
Neonatology
During deliveries at Dr. Rose Private Hospital, neonatologists specializing in the care of newborns are involved in each case and have the most experience in recognizing and caring for any pre- or postnatal abnormalities that may occur. This practice is also in compliance with international standards.
Rehabilitation
Our physiotherapists begin the necessary treatment immediately following surgery, depending on the type of intervention and the patient’s condition.
Pediatric care
At Dr. Rose Private Hospital, we treat pediatric care as a priority area, providing our small patients with full care at the highest professional level from birth to adulthood.Pediatric primary careOur pediatric specialists, experienced in infancy and early childhood, monitor development and provide parents with up-to-date and scientifically sound advice on feeding, vaccinations, lifestyle and community, enabling the prevention, early detection and treatment of unexpected conditions. With regular and age-appropriate screening, many childhood conditions can be detected early and, with appropriate treatment, subsequent disorders can be prevented.Pediatric specialtiesIn addition to general pediatric primary care, we provide comprehensive care for children in most medical fields. Accordingly, it is possible to use the specialties of gastroenterology, pulmonology, allergology, dermatology, cardiology, endocrinology, diabetes, genetics, nephrology, surgery, ophthalmology, ear-nose-throat, radiology and orthopedic pediatrics.Children's annual cardsOur pediatric annual cards are based on special criteria for different age groups of children. The cards contain all prevention and health assessment studies that may have an impact on healthy development in the long run. One of the advantages of our annual packages is that, depending on the construction, they also include unlimited hospital and, if necessary, home pediatric examinations.Children’s screeningsIn our screening packages for children, it is possible to detect diseases that occur in childhood at an early stage, enabling the prevention, timely detection and treatment of later conditions that are considered common diseases.
Endometrial ablation
Endometrial ablation, also known as uterine ablation or curettage, can have several indications, either diagnostic or therapeutic. Diagnostic ablation is when we need information about the endometrium for diagnostic purposes, or when we suspect a malignancy or other lesion. A therapeutic ablation is when we remove the endometrium because of a prolonged bleeding disorder. The operation is performed under general anesthetic and is usually a one-day procedure unless the patient has a general underlying medical condition that requires several days in hospital.
Pediatric ophthalmology
Ophthalmology is a medical field that requires special care in the case of children. Thanks to the excellent professional experience of our pediatric ophthalmologists, they look after the children who come to us with due patience and expertise. Owing to the possible lack of knowledge of letters and numbers, it is necessary to communicate in a different way during the examination.
Videodermatoscope
We use FotoFinder® technology from one of the world's leading manufacturers for long-term image-based monitoring of skin cancer. Mole screening is performed using the FotoFinder® camera system and Moleanalyzer pro® software with artificial intelligence developed by the Department of Dermatology at the University of Tübingen, Germany.
