Heart Ultrasound

It is an ultrasound imaging technique capable of measuring the speed of blood circulation and the movement of different parts of the heart by creating 2D snapshots, moving images and lately by producing 3D reconstructions. This way, activities of the heart ventricles, the walls of the heart, the pericardium and the heart valves can be visualized. The examination can show post-heart attack disorders of the heart walls, cicatrices, valvular illnesses, abnormal blood flow, clots and fluid in the pericardium.
