This examination screens the area of the rectum and the 14-16 cm long preceding bowel section. Rectoscopy can diagnose both benign and malevolent tumors and polyps as well as hemorrhoids and other injuries.

Although our specialists are experienced in the field of this type of examination, the procedure might still be unpleasant. Therefore we can perform rectoscopy in anesthesia upon request. The whole examination takes only 2-5 minutes. The patient is required to make some preparations beforehand: he/she has to follow a colon cleansing diet and apply the necessary products recommended by the specialist.
